Situated just 60 metres from the beautiful, sandy beach of Achladies and convenient for both Skiathos Town and the other beaches of the island, Hotel "Vontzos" offers an ideal place for an ideal holiday.

It is a family run hotel with its own taverna situated below in the lovely rose garden that has been the trademark of the hotel.

 

Hotel "Vontzos" has 21 double rooms looking out to the sea or on to the green garden filled with trees and flowering shrubs which create a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere.

Each room has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, a refrigerator and air conditioning.

Rooms are let on a "bed and breakfast" basis.
Additional meals may be taken in the excellent taverna "Rose Garden" associated with the hotel.
The hotel has a large lounge with television, a breakfast room and private parking for its residents.

It is just 4 kilometers from Skiathos Town and 8 kilometers from the famous beach of Koukounaries and the other sandy beaches in that area.

The bus stop is 100 meters away and buses run every 15 to 20 minutes to both Town and Koukounaries. 

There are two supermarkets nearby.

The beach of Achladies is of fine sand and slopes gently into the sea making it a very safe beach for children.

It is 60 meters from the hotel and has water sports facilities and a regular sea taxi running to and from Skiathos Town.
This is a wonderful way to travel and avoids any crowding that can happen in the bus.

Underneath Hotel "Vontzos" is the Taverna "Rose Garden". 

Managed by the daughter and son in law of Yianni, the hotel owner, it offers excellent, traditional Greek food,  several of its own specialities and a selection of outstanding Greek wines.

It has been recommended by all who have eaten there.
