I just read Lorraines comments but didnt want to continue with a long post, thought id start my own Lorraine I also am coming back in May 2006 and cant wait. Dont think Skiathos is all that much more expensive, just depends where you are prepared to hunt out, some of the nicest little cheap tavernas are hidden away off the beaten track, and even if you want to visit somewhere like The Windmill and pay more, you get so much more and well worth the cost, and if you work it out in pounds, its no more expensive than a restaurant at home,
as for people, SKiathos people are lovely, beaches are fantastic, weather is lovely, island as a whole is a tremendous place for a holiday.
I would love to see less moaning and whining on this site and more positive comments on the good side of SKiathos
