HOW TO GET THERE

During the high season (roughly the 1st of July until mid September) Skyros can be reached by car ferry twice a day from Kymi on Evvia (you can catch a bus in Athens that connects with the ferry).
From Athens by Olympic Airways three times a week.
Outside the season flights and ferries are drastically reduced.

Moped Hire.

For getting around Skyros mopeds are recommended. The roads are good (except from Atsitsa to Pefkos) and there are not too many steep gradients.
