Kolios Beach lies in a nice small bay with tree covered headlands at both ends.
It is part of the larger bay that includes the beaches of Vromolimnos, Kolios and Platanias (Aghia Paraskevi).

On the beach is a beach bar taverna and a regular taverna plus water sport facilities.

The accommodation is spread out between the bus stops of 13, 14 & 15 and goes a fair way inland.
Most accommodation is not more than 10 minutes walk to one of the three beaches.

 

Skiathos Town is 10 minutes away by bus and Koukounaries, in the opposite direction, is about the same.

 
There is a good selection of tavernas and restaurants in the area and a supermarket and (at least) 2 mini-markets.


There are also several swimming pools which are usually available to the public as long as you buy something from the pool bar.
