SKLITHRI & TZANERIA

 
On from Achladies, between bus stops 11 & 12, is the small beach and valley of Sklithri.

The beach is quite small but not usually crowded and has an excellent, old style, Greek taverna.

This bay provides the best protection for boats outside of Skiathos Harbour and is very full of different craft.
This is where we moor our catamaran "Merlin". 

 

At bus stop 12, you can take a dirt road to the left down to Tzaneria Beach also known as Nostos Beach from the hotel behind it.
This beach has a good taverna, a water sports school and a dive centre. Like Kanapitsa Beach, around the corner, the prevailing north-east breeze blows directly onshore and helps keep one cool in the summer months. At the Nostos Hotel they also have a tennis court which can be rented on an hourly basis.

Regular taxi boats from town service this and Kanapitsa Beach.
